Megan Bigelow is a visual artist who works with concepts, bodies, texts, and objects, making work from a queer, feminist perspective. Some of her artistic and philosophical interests include immanence, embodiment, affect, topology, sexuality, temporality, and power. She approaches art as an event and an experience that occurs as a relation between artist, viewer, artwork and materials, and the affects that flow between these entities. She received her BFA in Photography from The Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and has lectured at the School of Visual Arts, had her work featured on Feature Shoot, and included in Stuart Pilkington's projects Book • Film • Painting and The Swap.
She currently lives in New York City.
